Down we go

Yale, no less, covers itself in shame. This has to be read to be believed. The art world likes to think of itself as bold and fearless in attacking symbols of conventionality. "Transgressive" is the self-congratulatory term of art. Thus the aesthetic class defended Andre Serrano's "Piss Christ," which was, by the way, supported by taxpayer dollars from the National Endowment for the Arts. But there will be no similar depiction of Mohammed, not as a matter of principle or of respect, but purely and simply as a matter of cowardice.

Our cultural elites are a disgrace.
