Palin

The Mav fools everybody and comes up with the perfect pick.

She's dynamite, super-smart and with guts to burn.

Obama's big speech has been trumped into a fading memory, Biden just an old-politics, blabbering albatross.

From here on, it's going to be fun.

Pro-life; pro-drilling, everywhere; mother of five, including a special needs son; husband who works on the North Slope; lifelong NRA member; governor; woman . . . it doesn't get better than Sarah Palin. Hillary may have put 18 million cracks in the glass ceiling, but Sarah broke through it long ago, with no fanfare.

My big fear since her name was floated months ago (the VP debate) has faded somewhat with the nomination of The Blowhard. His vaunted half-vast experience can be answered with a one-liner: "Senator, I have two more years of executive experience than either you or Obama." Now she needs to learn the names of every head of state, and the fact that there is no more Czechoslovakia.

She also has a son in the US Army and headed for Iraq next month. Palin took on the corrupt GOP hierarchy in Alaska and mopped the floor with them. She takes no prisoners. By contrast, Obama is nothing but a slick South Chicago pol, and his disastrous pick of Biden demonstrated what a hollow, cynical sham his "change" candidacy is.

McCain can remind voters who has the real record of reform. Obama talks a lot about it but has no actual record of reform, and for a running mate, he chose a 35-year Washington insider with all sorts of connections to lobbyists and pork. McCain has fought pork, taken real political risks to fight undue influence of lobbyists, and he picked an outsider who took on her own party — and won.

This is change you can believe in, and not change that amounts to all talk. McCain changed the trajectory of the race today by stealing Obama’s strength and turning it against him. Obama provided that opening by picking Biden as his running mate, and McCain was smart enough to take advantage of the opening.

The only thing Palin lacks that I wish she had - a liquor store. Other than that, she's the perfect storm blowing up BHO's skirts.

The woman is a load, and I hope she becomes President in four years.

Drill here, drill there. Drill everywhere! I hope she can convince McCain that ANWR should be called Alaska National Wasteland Refuge.
Tonight 2 bottles of wine to celebrate a winning ticket- a guy who actually wants success in Iraq and a conservative babe!
